Ilirija d.d., a tourism company based in Biograd na Moru, an active participant in the tourism market for over 57 years.
The winner of the award for corporate social responsibility in 2011 and 2012 in the category of middle-sized companies and also the first and so far the only tourism company to receive such an award.
The component of corporate social responsibility, which is particularly important for the tourism industry, and therefore Ilirija d.d. as well, rests on the principle of sustainable development, i.e. promotion of economic development without endangering the existing natural resources or the cultural, historical and natural heritage. By engaging in such type of responsible and sustainable tourism activity and, in doing so, ensuring balance between the present and future economic, social and environmental requirements of all participants in the business process, we also ensure long-term existence of Ilirija as an economic entity, tourism as a branch of industry, as well as future for the generations to come.
