The villages and way of life remain the same as they did through the ages in Serbia. The landscape differs from plains to mountains but one thing is for sure - the people follow in the traditions of their ancestors in pursuing their rural pursuits. Apart from the laid back pace and the warm and hospitable welcome of the people living in the villages, a tour through Serbia's countryside can reveal a lot more to the visitor including a diverse eco-system which attracts rich flora and fauna, a wildlife that ranges from rare birds to many animals still to be found in the wild, rivers, lakes and 'clean air' all contribute to ensure the perfect escape from 21st century living allowing time for reflection, tranquillity and relaxation.
