Located in the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage area in New South Wales between Wollemi National Park and Gardens of Stone National Park, Emirates Wolgan Valley Resort & Spa is deeply committed to the conservation of the area’s rare biodiversity. In addition to being the first carbon neutral resort in Australia to be internationally third party certified; Wolgan Valley is also actively engaged in the restoration of endemic vegetation along the Wolgan River to control soil erosion, maintain water quality, and create wildlife habitat. Linking the two national parks with an important biological corridor is another key conservation accomplishment along with controlling invasive species, and restoring degraded farm land back to natural habitat.
