Għarb is a tranquil small village situated in the west of Gozo Island. It is one of the oldest settlements on the island, best known for its local crafts, deep-rooted culture, ancient architecture and pristine landscapes. The local Council has always championed conservation projects. A great success story and a key achievement of the island’s regeneration efforts is the revival of Wied il-Mielaħ, from wasteland to a magnificent rural destination.
