2. WHY
Reason for taking the good practice action
The "Saarpfalz-Kreis" as the most important organisation responsible for public transport of the region was already dedicated to the development of a very sustainable mobility long before the recognition of the UNESCO in 2009. The result is a good and extensive public transport on site. A central role plays here the line 501, the biosphere bus on the central pivot through the reserve.
