Amazon Tree Climbing

Our company is pioneer at the recreational tree climbing activity in Brazil. We work with "closed" groups, of 6 persons maximum, because we believe small groups cause less impact to the environment and tend to "blend" better with the culture of the places they visit. ATC is based in Manaus, in the heart off the brazilian jungle. We offer, 1 day trips and customized river expeditions. The trees we climb are inspected previously and the places we visit are carefully chosen. Our services include, high quality gear and multilingual guides, with vast international experience and a solid cultural background. We follow rigid security protocols of the brazilian standards for adventure tourism. Our wish is to share with our guests the magic and beauty of the Amazon, while helping them appreciate the wonders of nature and learn to respect this fragile ecosystem. <p>With our knowledge of logistics for the Amazonian region we can customize a expedition to best suit you and your crew. We can arrange all the supplies, the gear and needs that a expedition demands along with kayaks, hydroplanes or boats fully equipped to take you to the location of your choice in the Amazon! Either at is office/home base in Manaus or in all operations ATC applies reduce, reuse and recycle philosophy. At all expeditions we follow "Leave No Trace" outdoor ethics, so we can minimize our impact to the places we visit. ATC limits the groups to 6 person maximum, because we believe small groups tend to "blend" better with the environment. At all expeditions ATC, gives priority to buying foods and local goods directly from family farmers and fishermen. We also recommend to our guests, to buy local "green" handicrafts, helping cooperative artisans stay in business. In the communities along the river that we visit and climb on the expeditions, ATC maintain a friendly relationship with locals and we contribute financially during each visit. The crew working at the boat during our trips are from regional communities.
