Agua Trails is a Costa Rican tour operator, based in "La Fortuna de San Carlos", a popular tourist destination at the foot of Arenal Volcano, at short distance of the border with Nicaragua. We offer shuttles, day tours and packages to Nicaragua, leaving from La Fortuna (Costa Rica). The distance to the border crossing is just over 60 miles, which allows Nicaragua to be a new and exciting destination for day tours and multi-day tours leaving from the La Fortuna / Arenal area.
Our mission is to promote the cultural and natural highlights of the San Juan River and the Solentiname Archipelago by offering quality "border crossing tours" to Nicaragua for a fair price, strongly preferring service providers that effectively implement "best management practices", working together for sustainable development through tourism in Costa Rica and Nicaragua.
