Am a founder member of the newly formed Rural Based Tourism Network in Kenya which aims to develop rural village-based tourism economy to enhance growth & development of rural tourism in less privileged communities in Kenya with a focus on quality standards. my aim is to establish a multi-stakeholder rural tourism network to promote, develop, expand, support and enhance competitiveness of emerging rural village tourism enterprises through through exploitation of untapped tourism potential in the rural villages to promote community-based tourism development hence enhance green economy growth while increasing employment and rural incomes. Am hoping to create global partnerships for sustainable development to complement Millenium Development Goals.
