Les Promenades Urbaines

"Les Promenades Urbaines" aims to give to browse and understand the urban space by crossing the eyes, with all audiences. She conceives and animates original, new and customized walks, to accompany the desires of insightful walkers, informed inhabitants or any user of the city curious about its environment. For a day or a half day, the urban walk allows participants to acquire the keys to a critical reading of the spaces traveled. Some extend visits to permanent or temporary exhibitions. Didactic of the meeting and not of the presentation, the urban walk allows to cross the speeches, to confront the points of view without opposing them, to construct by exchange a plural knowledge of the city.

The association aims to be an open school of the city, whose research, methods, tools are aimed at a wide audience while benefiting all of its members. Thanks to a resource center that is both a source of reflection and research on the urban promenade, it invents the city of tomorrow with researchers, communities, institutions and businesses. It participates in training courses for students and professionals, promotes research on the emerging professions of the city as well as new tools for mobility and their digital sharing.
