On Friday 31st August 2012 the Tourism Ministry presented a new portal at http://www.odrzivi.turizam.hr/ which will provide the fastest access to all topics related to sustainable tourism in Croatia as well as on the international, notably European level.

The portal was designed as part of the European project FAST-LAIN (Further Action on Sustainable Tourism – Learning Area Innovation Networks), launched as part of the EU Directorate General Enterprise and Industry's Competitiveness and Innovation Programme.

The Croatian ministry included six partners in the project - companies and institutions from Germany, Portugal, Spain, France, France, Sweden and Norway. The German company Ecotrans was the main partner and drew the EU funds.

The Croatian portal is included in the European portal DestiNet
