1. CIRT-Interdepartmental Centre for Research on tourism. The CIRT was established in 2001 within the Faculty of Economics, at the initiative of the Department of Business Economics and Statistics of the University of Naples Federico II. Later, it also joined the Centre in the Department of Moral Philosophy, the Faculty of Humanities. The organization of the Center consists of three organizational units: the business unit, the unit of processing and analysis of statistical data and flows, and the unit focuses on cultural heritage. has ongoing research and university publications aimed at the study and appreciation of the local tourist offer of the city of Naples, for a study on business management of museums and has provided valuable support for all initiatives related to tourism. 2. Management Tourism Sciences. The phd thesis presented ranged in different fields of the tourism sector, with reference to destination management, brokerage tourist facilities and promotion of aggregation (eg, Consorcio de Barcelona Tourist Board), the cruise industry and marine tourism, tourism sustainable, to religious tourism, and the management of cultural heritage.
