LAGES - University of Florence

The Laboratory of social geography -Lages - is a research facility that is part of the Department of Historical Studies and Geography, University of Florence. The Lages is engaged in research and higher education on the issues of demographic change, socio-economic and territorial cohesion in contemporary society. The Laboratory operates at a urban and regional scale, both in national and international context. Combining theoretical depth, empirical research (quantitative and qualitative) and electronic data processing, the Lages as a privileged place for the production of ideas and knowledge, can provide operational support to the needs of public and private organizations. Research topic: Sustainable tourism, cultural tourism, brand image, rural tourism.
