CIRT-University of Pisa and Florence

Interuniversity Research Center on Tourism, University of Florence and Pisa. The CIRT was established in December 2010 for a joint initiative of the University of Florence and the University of Pisa. Contributed to its foundation the Departments of Science Business, of Economics and Statistics "G. Parenti", University of Florence, the Departments of Public Law and Political and Social Sciences University of Pisa. Among the main research object of interest of the CIRT should be noted: - The creation of observatories whose aim is the analysis of tourist destination for the measurement of competitive and sustainable impact of tourism; - Study the following tourist segments: sustainable tourism, social tourism, cultural tourism and natural landscape, tourism and business studies, sport tourism etc. - The revenue management - Studies in the field of development of uniform accounting systems for businesses actors; - The development of methods and models for measurement and communication of the museums.
