To create and work Druzhina is to promote the preservation and restoration of the natural environment, prevent the destruction of natural values by combining the intellectual capacity, material and financial resources, institutional capacity of member UNN DOP (DOP Charter UNN, 1994). The brigade was established in 1972 as Druzhina Conservation Gorky State University (GSU DOP). In 1988, it stops its activities. After the break, in 1992 Druzhina again resume work as early as Druzhina Conservation of the Nizhny Novgorod University (see "History" section).
