Regional public organization "Association of Greens of Karelia" (hereinafter referred to simply as the Association) is an environmental non-profit voluntary association of citizens and their associations, whose activities are aimed at achieving harmony between society and nature, preserving and restoring natural and cultural environment of the human mind. The Association carries out its activities in accordance with the Constitution of Russia, the Constitution of the Republic of Karelia, the Federal Law "On public associations" and "On charitable activities and charitable organizations, international instruments: the Universal Declaration of Human Rights", "World Conservation Strategy" World Charter for Nature "," Convention of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage "," Convention of Biological Diversity "," Convention on Climate Change "," Agenda XXI Century "and others, as well as the present Charter.
