| Clean Beaches is open to any beach or shore area along a body of water such as a bay, river or lake. We encourage all Queensland local governments and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island community councils, Surf Life Saving clubs, schools, beach residents and community groups to nominate. To take out the Clean Beaches title, a beach community must not only be clean, but strongly proactive and best exemplify all aspects of the Clean Beaches Awards program. |
