Launching of the Green Destinations’ Global Top 100
Two special destinations events at ITB Berlin are organized by Green Destinations, TravelMole’s Vision on Sustainable Tourism newswire, EUCC - QualityCoast, and ECOTRANS — DestiNet. Green Destinations works in Partnership of 30 leading international experts, companies, universities and NGOs, providing a global platform for destination innovation. In 2014, the Green Destinations Expert Panel selected 100 destinations for their good management practices. This was the first ever Sustainable Destina- tions Global Top 100, celebrating excellence in destination management.
All destinations are invited to join the Green Destinations Community . Our aim is to support ambitious destinations in improving their quality and market exposure, based upon the princi- ples of sustainable and responsible tourism.
Community for one year.
The Community is launched at ITB Berlin 2015, where Greendestinations.info, DestiNet and VISION for Sustainable Tourism will organise:
- Thursday 5 March 17:00-18:00(Adventure Stage, Hall 4.1.b): a first public stage presentation at ITB Berlin, launching the Community and allowing Green Destinations Top 100 destinations to present good practices.
