Contact Rodna Mountains National Park

Rodna Mountains National Park is the second largest national park in the country, with an area of 47.177 ha. The importance of this protected area geology and geomorphology is due to both mountains and the presence of numerous species of flora and fauna, endemic and relict glacial. Rodna MOnutains National Park Administration (APNMR) was founded in May 2004. Ministry of Environment and Water, Minstry of Environment and Climate Change now, as the central public authority responsible for the environment, has entrusted management contract to Romsilva National Forest for a period of 10 years, 2004-2014.
