Дирекция на Природен парк "Българка" (Bulgarka Nature Park Directorate)

The park was declared by order RD-775 of 09/08/2002 of the Ministry of Environment and Water in order to protect, restore and maintain beech ecosystems and landscapes typical of the Central Balkan Mountains, flora, fauna and cultural and historical wealth of the region. It covers a total area of 21772.2 ha. It is one of the eleven nature parks - managed by Park Directorates established within the Executive Forest Agency under the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Forestry.
