DestiNet can now be accessed using a new domain name "destinet.ew.eea.europa.eu". The old domain name "destinet.ew.eea.europa.eu" will remain accessible for a period of time (probably up to a year), in order to accustom users to the change.
The domain change may mean little, if not represent a nuisance, to those interested in information on sustainable tourism. It is however an important step toward moving DestiNet website closer to EnviroWindows and the European Environment Agency family of web portals.
