SMAL (Suomen matkatoimistoalan liitto / The Association of Finnish Travel Agents)

The Association of Finnish Travel Agents (AFTA) is formed by travel agents, tour operators and incoming agents.The objectives of the association are: - to further the development of the travel agent industry in Finland - to promote the mutual interests of its members and protect their rights - to work for good business practices - to enforce good relations and co-operation between its members and other companies in the travel industry AFTA co-operates with government officials, legislators, National Consumer Administration and different ministries. It keeps up close connections to suppliers of Finnish travel industry (Finnair, State Railways Ltd, regional tourism organizations etc.) In addition AFTA is a member or an active co-operator in several national and international organizations.
