Knowledge Networking Portal for Sustainable & Responsible Tourism
MU is an internationally-oriented organization for research and education on tourism, sustainable development, new media technology, and public governance. It combines a strong academic foundation with a commitment to sustainability and innovation as the key drivers of long-term success. It aims to foster independent and original research and bring the benefits of innovation to the research community and the general public. MU builds upon an international network of partner universities, commercial enterprises and public institutions.
The Department of Tourism and Service Management and its faculty engages in a multitude of research areas such as Policy Evaluation, Perspectives on Tourism Demand, Entrepreneurial Challenges in Fast-Changing Environments, as well as Destination Competitiveness and Development. Through its study programs, students gain state of the art management competencies and leadership skills to pursue international careers in the hospitality and tourism industry.
