ABOUT
The Going Green 2030 System has been developed in the ETGG 2030 project as an innovation, training and implementation programme to support European tourism SME resilience through the development of product and service supply chain sustainability certification. The UN 2030 Agenda Sustainable Development Goal - Sustainable Consumption and Production (SDG 12) provides the overall policy framework in which multi-stakeholder collaborative action (SDG 17) can be undertaken at the national, regional or local levels to implement an SME sustainability support service. In Europe’s drive to meet the global Agenda 2030 targets though the Green Deal, implementation of the circular economy and application of covid-19 recovery funds, Business Support Organisations and Higher Education Institutes are encouraged to use the Going Green System to Support SME in their destinations, and SMEs themselves can use the system to make a sustainability self-assessment to undertake 3rd party self-assessment.
