Zertifikate und Wettbewerbe für nachhaltigen Tourismus sollten mehr für den Erhalt der Artenvielfalt tun!
Mit Unterstützung durch das Bundesministerium für Umwelt und das Bundesamt für Naturschutz haben die Experten von Adelphi, Ecotrans und Global Nature Fund 20 Zertifizierungsprogramme und 29 Wettbewerbe untersucht. Ergebnis: Der Tourismussektor kann einiges mehr machen – Standardorganisationen, Zertifizierer und Ausrichter von Wettbewerben sollten in ihre Systeme mehr und wirkungsvollere Kriterien integrieren.
