International Forum "Ecological Connectivity for a Green Economy in the Alps"
The project GreenConnect studied the contributions of ecological connectivity measures to a green economy in the alpine context and highlighted some of the potential socio-economic impacts.
Based on the results of this study, that will be presented during the event, participants from research, alpine Pilot Regions, administrations and representatives from different economic sectors are invited to discuss the implications, to suggest related project ideas and to participate in the drafting of a follow-up process.
This event is organized in coordination with the Workshop “Business models for the sustainable use of natural resources in the Alpine region” organized as part of a process to develop an action plan for a Green Alpine Economy, taking place the day before (27th September 2017) in Immenstadt.
