MIBACT

MIBACT is the ministry that collects State competencies related to cultural heritage, culture and tourism. Since tourism is a matter of exclusive responsibility of the Regions, the Ministry essentially plays a role in coordination, planning and unitary representation of Italian tourism abroad. It also manages the funds of the National Operational Program (PON) for granting businesses in the cultural and tourism sector.
