New European Toolkit Supporting Ecotourism Development

The European ECOLNET project – with support from the EU Lifelong Learning Programme – is now offering public access to the European Ecotourism Network Knowledge Base, accessible through the DestiNet portal, with

  • the internationally GSTC recognized European Ecotourism Labelling Standard (download) with its criteria, indicators, explanations and good practice examples

  • more than 1000 stakeholders and good practice examples on the atlas, certificates and awards, tools and publications, certified and awarded businesses, destinations and tour operators, events and news in the partnering countries and in Europe

  • the European Ecotourism Network on NING, LinkedIn and Facebook, for exchange and discussion, good practice library and free use of the EETLS E-tools for self-evaluation and EETLS online training packages
