GSTC Announces the Development of the New GSTC Micro and Small Enterprise Standards

The development of the new Standard builds directly on the work of the GSTC Roundtable for Micro and Small Enterprises Certification (R4MSEC) and the findings and recommendations presented in the first R4MSEC Roundtable Report, published by GSTC in February 2026.
Rather than creating an entirely new sustainability framework from scratch, the MSE Standards are being developed as sub-standards derived from the GSTC Hotel Standard and the GSTC Tour Operator Standard. …
Following the drafting and expert consultation phase, the draft of the GSTC MSE Standard will enter a Public Consultation from February to March 2027.
