The Objectives of this Seminar are to identify the special potential provided by tourism and the different ways it can impact on poverty. Based on the latest WTO publication on "Tourism and Poverty Alleviation, Recommendations for Action",practical approaches to spread tourism's benefits in poor communities will be presented and discussed, and recommendations will be made for the different stakeholders involved to take action.
