Since 1999, the Tourism Summits held in Chamonix Mont-Blanc have been a meeting place to reflect on the problems relating to the sustainability of tourism ; the balance between the environment, the economy, society and culture, and the development of tourism. The 5 th edition of the Tourism Summits will take place on the 3 rd, 4 th & 5 th December 2003 with the theme 'Managing change : the public-private partnership, a success factor for sustainable development'.
