High quality presentations gave examples of good practice in protected coastal areas. The venue of the Congress, the Fuerte Hotel El Rompido, was purposefully chosen; having an almost perfect environmental management programme the hotel can serve as a model for similar establishments in protected (coastal) areas and demonstrates that sustainability is a competitive asset.</font></p>
