News SECTEUR: What Climate Change information do you need?

Invitation to participate in the SECTEUR survey on climate information needs in the Tourism Sector

Climate change is seen by many as one of the most important current challenges for the sustainability of tourism.  Its impact on tourism, and vice versa, requires fundamental changes in the way many destinations and businesses work. (See : DestiNet).

This Survey ...

is part of the SECTEUR project (Sector Engagement for C3S - Translating European User Requirements) which aims to understand the requirements of climate information across a number of sectors: agriculture, forestry, coasts, health, transport, insurance ... and tourism. As partner of SECTEUR, the University of Leeds would like to invite you to complete an EU-wide online survey. Based on the survey results the Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S) will develop and deliver quality assured information about the past, current and future states of the climate in Europe and worldwide.

As a result, this is an opportunity for you to help shape and tailor this service according to your organisation s climate information needs.

All responses will be kept anonymous and confidential. The survey will be open until 15th November 2016. We would very much appreciate it if you could take the time to complete the survey and help shape the development of C3S in Europe. The survey takes no longer than 15 minutes to complete.
